About the bonspiel

The 5th Annual Ruthless Babes Bonspiel is a one-day "fun first" bonspiel, intended to raise funds for the Ruthless Babes of Calgary Sport Foundation. All skill levels are welcome to join us on March 16th for a full day of curling, raffle prizes, silent auction, and pizza party. There is plenty of room for spectators, cheerleaders, and kids, all of whom can join without charge.

Last year, through the annual bonspiel and softball tournament, The Ruthless Babes of Calgary Sports Foundation raised over $1200 for Spirit North.

About the babes

The Ruthless Babes are a fun-loving bunch of Calgary Softball players that are using their collective love of softball and sport to help provide new and used sports equipment for young kids in need.

The Ruthless Babes formed as a softball team in 2016. The Babes may have peaked athletically winning the CSSC City-Wide Recreational Monday Night Spring 2017 league.

The Ruthless Babes of Calgary Sport Foundation Ltd. was formed in 2018 with the object "to obtain by donation, purchase or otherwise, sporting goods and equipment exclusively for donation to public schools and community organizations in the City of Calgary and surrounding areas through fundraising events of a sporting character."
